Shiitake Mushrooms, also known as Chinese Black Mushrooms, “Dong Gu”, or “Xiang Gu”, are a widely used ingredient in Chinese, Japanese and Korean cuisine. These mushrooms are also used in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
Great for stir-fries, hot pots and noodle soups.
To Prepare: Place dried mushrooms in a bowl and cover with water. Allow to soak for 30 minutes or until soft, and use as suggested.
