Warm Char Siu Salad

Main Ingredients:

400 gPork Fillet
1Chinese lettuce (washed)
100 gBaby Spinach (washed)
500 gAsparagus (washed and cut into 3 cm pieces, then blanched)
1Chilli (seeded, cut into strips, as garnish)

Dressing Ingredients:

2 tbspDistilled Vinegar or Rice Vinegar
5 tbspExtra Virgin Olive Oil
½ tbspGarlic (minced)
30 gSpring Onion (finely chopped, plus extra for garnish)


To Prep

Marinate port in Chinese BBQ Marinade for at least 2 hrs.

To Cook

1.Bake at 200 ℃ on rack over a baking trip filled with 2.5 cm of water for 20 minutes or until cooked. Allow to rest and slice thinly.
2.Prepare salad and mix dressing ingredients. Arrange salad on a plate.
3.Top salad with dressing and slices of warm char siu. Garnish with chili slices and spring onions. Ready to serve.
