Our Whole Chinese Dried Mushrooms are also known as Shiitake and Forest Mushrooms. An essential cooking ingredient to many Asian cuisines, the "smoky" and robust flavour complements meat, poultry, fish, noodles, tofu, vegetable and rice dishes. Soak in water for 20 minutes or until soft, squeeze out excess water, remove stems and use whole, sliced or diced in your favourite recipe. The strained liquid can also be used to flavour soups and sauces.
